1953 WD...I have had no luck getting the eccentric bolts to move on my spin outs I have tried heat, impact wrenches, breaker bars etc... Can I buy new ones and just torch these off? Thanks

Does anyone have any close up pictures of them apart. Still a little fuzzy on how they work? Are they threaded? Thanks

You sure don't need to torch them. And I doubt that you can buy new. I've had this problem on every spin out except two. This is my method.

Remove the two bolts that hold the whole assembly on the rim. Remove these two bolts from all four assemblies. The next step can be done either on the tractor or off. It is easier with the rim off the tractor. Put the tire and rim face down on the ground. Support the inside rim so tire and outside rim is not touching the ground. Using a large bar and a heavy hammer, drive the eccentric assemblies off the inside rim. Hit first one then the next in clockwise motion (or counterclockwise). They will drive off the inside rim without too much trouble. Once they or off, remove the keeper that is on the inside of the eccentric bolt. Drive the bolt out of the bracket. Clean up the rust on the bolt and the inside of the bracket with sand paper until the bolt will slide in the bracket easily. Lubricate with a good grease and reassemble.

It is time comsuming but I've saved everyone so far.

I agree with Texas Denny, I have had to use a 20 ton press to get the eccentric out of the holder once I get them off the rims but I have been able to save everyone I took off. Follow his instructions and it will work. I do have some used ones for sale but you should be able to save the ones you have. Oil or anti seize them as Denny said before reinstalling. Den
