How do you put a decal set up

I have a question on how to put a decal set on.Do you just stick them on or do you stick them on then seal it with some kind of clear coat. Thats

The decals are more or less self sticking, but you need to peel the backing off of them first. Sometimes you need to soak the entire decal in water in order to loosen the backing. You also need to spray windex on the surface of the tractor where you want to apply the decal, this will allow you the opportunity to move the decal around a bit to get it positioned properly. Without the windex the decal will instantly stick and you will not move it again without tearing it. Once you have the decal positioned where you want it, you can use a soft cloth to dry the remaining windex and at the same time start working the bubbles and wrinkles out of the decal. Start in the center and work the bubbles out to the edge. When it looks good, leave it alone for awhile, then come back later and see if any more bubbles have appeared. If you didn't wait too long, you should be able to push those bubbles out also. If you waited too long, you will need to prick the bubble with a pin and let the air out that way. Don't get in a hurry when applying decals, take your time and the job will turn out well.
