After sitting in the barn not running for 2 years my 1944 WC has a valve sticking. Any quick and simple solutions?

if you use a hammer its a good idea to put piston at bottom dead center on cylinder youre working on...dont take much to bend a valve if it smacks piston.

A good sorking of tranny fluid in the cylinders and under the valve cover. Then work the valve and if you can turn it to hepl loosen it up. If you fill the cylinders with tranny fluid and then turn the engine over by hand that will help get the fluid up and around the valves and also unstick the rings which are also probably sticking also

Easiest solution is to pull the valve cover and spray a penetrating oil or ATF on the valve stems and then start lightly tapping on the top of the valve with a small hammer. The valve should soon free up and regain its full travel.I have had good sucess with this method on a number of tractor engines.
