could anyone tell me if the 230 or 262 6cly would fit a allis tractor or not? and if so what size. thanks T.G.

The 230ci diesels were used in the WD45Diesels. The D-17 diesels used the 262 diesel vertion and the D-19's used a little later vertion of the 262 engines in both gas and diesel. Both the gas and diesel, 230 and 262 vertions were very good engines.

There are a couple around here in WD/wd 45 frames. Remember the WD 45 diesel is a 230 also.
