Hi, I just purchased this 1968 AC I600 with front loader & backhoe attachment. It's got a slipping engine clutch, so I'm thinking about pulling the engine to replace it. I see in my parts manual AC #0247745-3 for the pressure plate & AC #0245834-7 for the disc. I've done an internet search, but can't find anything. My concern now is not being able to find parts once I've pulled it apart. Anyone been here before? Where should I look? Thanks for the help. Tim

Thanks! you guys are so awesome! I thought this was going to be a real nightmare, but thanks to all the great advice it's going smoothly. Here's an update: The closest AGCO dealer that can sell AC parts is in Salem OR. I called them 1st and faxed pages of my parts manual per thier request, but they haven't gotten back to me yet. Next I called Walter Implement Co & talked to Mike in parts. Mike is extremely helpfull and very interested helping. He has even talked to the mechanic and relayed helpfull info on other aspects of the job. Mike has located all new parts for me, (including engine seals & gaskets) and in my opinion the prices are very reasonable. He is even going to take credit card over phone and have parts drop shipped directly to me! How's that for service? BTW, I sent Ott's an email last night, but haven't heard back from them yet. I don't plan on using them this time, but I'll keep this information and might possibly use them in the future. I have a 1949 Case that needs brake discs relined. Thanks again, you guys are great! Tim

Take pressure plate/clutch disc to Ott's Friction Supply on Columbia Blvd (about 8 to 10 blocks west of MLK Blvd) They should be able to rebuild both. WK at LaCenter

The parts should be the same as for a D15 farm tractor. Find your local AGCO dealer, he should be able to get the parts for you. Email me for some on-line dealers if you want to go that route.

I would second the Ott's suggestion. They rebuilt the pressure plate and got me a new clutch for my '39 B several years ago. They were the only folks around that would even look at it... They are on the NW corner of Columbia and Vancouver (kitty corner from the cookie plant...)
