i will look @ wd45 on next tues. to buy is there anything i should be looking for. the last person to try to start the tractor did not have the gas turn on. after he turn the gas on it still did not start. what would be a fair price in wi. i have very little machnical know how.

A running WD45 with a good transmission and old but usable tires, will usually sell for between $1500 and $2000. You want to make sure the tractor does not jump out of gear. That can be an expensive fix. Really hard to tell with a tractor that doesn't run. If it won't start, so you don't know how it runs, and you can't check the transmission, I would consider it will need lots of work and not give over $1000 for it. That would be if it isn't too beat up and rusty.

I've seen them sell for as little as $150 and as high as $4000 it all depends on if they run, what the tires are like, what the sheet metal is like etc, etc
