hope someone can help ...
My battery has been dead lately after running it for a while.. shut it off , and imediatly try to start it and it dead,,,, battery is fine.... i did notice that the lights are very dim when engine is running???
any suggestions?? parts ??

My 1967 AC170 (gas) has an alternator with the separate electro-mechanical voltage regulator. These old voltage regulators sometimes get stuck or the contacts get burnt. Sometimes the contacts can be filed and function will be restored.

Dean's book lists serial numbers for 1967, beginning at 86061, ending at 89213. Nothing listed beyond 1967.

That depends on if its a genny system or alternator. You probably should pull which ever it is off and have it checked at a place that rebuild them
