I've seen those pulleys on ebay every once and a while. It's a shame that they ever get separated from the mowers they go with, along with some other separate, but unique, mower parts. You also can get a workable pulley from a power transmission supplier such as Browning. I can get you the particulars on the AC pulley if you wish to proceed that way. I am assuming you have the B/C belly mower that uses a single v-belt. I don't know what pieces you may already have that are part of the separate hydraulic lifting mechanism for a C. I know they are different than those used on a B, particularly the early B mowers. However, you might get some ideas for a custom arrangement by looking at what I recently did to add hydraulic lift capability to my B mower. You shouldn't need that spring at all if you are going with hydraulics - unless you want to retain a hand lift capability. I found I had to loosen the spring up a lot when I started to use the hydraulics because (in combination with the hydraulics) it retarded the speed at which the cutter bar would lower. I like the cutter bar to drop fairly quickly when I want it to - not 10 seconds later.
