As far as traction- the value is in the existing tread on the tire. Hardware- rim and J-bolts, etc- not worth a whole lot- plenty of that around. I bought a good set 34 years ago for $100, used them on the D17 for a few years- put them on a Ford backhoe last year. One tire was dry rotted, found a cheap replacement. Neighbors estate auction a few years ago- bought 18.4-38s for $5 a pair with no bolts- auctioneer could not get a bid on remaining 8-10 sets, went to scrap. Around here- everyone's had them for 20 years or more- not much demand anymore unless the tires are 75% or better.
