My dad wants to know how to adjust the track on his Allis Chalmer bulldozer loader. If anyone can help thanks.

Good answers. Remember if the adjustment is a screw type there will be a locking system on the screw. You must release the lock. Also don't over tighten the tracks, that is very hard on the idle bearings, finaldrives, and the tracks. Should have 1 or 2 inches droop in the track between the top roller and the idler.

The tracks on my HD5 are adjusted by turning a bolt that pushes the front weel forward.

The tracks on my H.D.21-P are adjusted by pumping
the adjusters full of grease.Bud DeLong.
