Well I have had the carb apart 4 or 5 times now and it will not run with out being choked. Its the carb with the nonadjustable main jet. I'm thinking about drill the jet out just a little bit, what do you guys think?? Ya I checked to see if it was a manifold problem by spraying carb cleaner in the manifold when it was running and there was no change in the engine. I have also ran a tip cleaner through all the passages in the carb. Any body got any ideas on this one??
Thanks

Hi Old. It sounds like it is getting air somewhere after the carburetor. Drilling your jet to a larger size will more than likely just mask the cause. I would check everything again before i altered the jet.

hang in there. I have occasionally had to recheck several times before I found the leak.

Russ

Well I opened it up one more time. I checked and rechecked every thing. I also changed which gasket I used. Well its working the way it should be now so I'm not sure what I did but what ever it was I did it right LOL.
