Can anyone tell me what the horse power of a D-14 is ? Has anyone used one with a loader on it and if so how did it work out ?

No problems with a loader as long as the cylinders are correct for the AC system. Even without power steering, mine worked fine.

Have a Paulson trip bucket loader on a D14. Loader is slow to lift (D14 hydraulic pump is Hi Pressure; Low Volume); however does lift a loaded 7' snowbucket with no problem. Live power is an asset when loading as one can ease into the snow pile and lift bucket at same time. Power Steering is also a real plus with the loader.
