Ok I tried to post this in the tractor forum but it didn't work. I have a radiator for this C I'm working on but it has a lot of acrons in it. I shook a lot of them out but theres still some in it. You guys have any ideas of how to remove the rest. I'm thinking about hooking up a garde nhose to the bottom hose inlet and turning on the water with the cap on so they float out. Any body have other ideas??

Before you put water in it (I'm assuming it's dry now) hook a big shop vac to the filler neck and let it suck while you shake it.

If there are acorns in the radiator there is probably lots of other junk. At least that's the way it goes for me.

Suggest removing the radiator then flushing with water in both directions with a garden hose. You might have to do this several times to get all of the junk out.

Also flush and back flush the block.

Differant block then what this radaitor was on. I'm building one good tractor from parts of 2 of them and useing the best parts on the one I'm building. So far all that has fell out is acorns. Guess these here Missouri mice or rats love to fill this Radaitor I have. It sat for years with the cap off but other then the acorn looks clean inside.

I have an IH product that sat for years with the cap off the radiator. Removed the radiator from the tractor, then flushed from both directions. I sealed up one end of the radiator, filled with water, then let set for several hours, then flushed. It took 3 or 4 flushes to get all of the dirt out.

Well, looks like it is time to send in the squirrels. No seriously,you might try to turn it upside down and take a garden hose and flush from the bottom tank. Or turn both directions and see how it will flush.
