Should I freeze the sleeve over night or will it be ok with out doing so. Right now with out the O-rings it slipps all but the last 1/8-1/4 inch in. Thanks also any other tips. I hope to have that little C up and running brfore the end of the week unless we get rian all week long.

With the O-ring off the sleeve, slide the sleeve into the block. If you can not turn the sleeve in the block, YOU DO NOT HAVE THE BLOCK AND THE SLEEVE CLEAN ENOUGH.

like the man said, plus twist as you insert. will need bolts to hold it in place when working with the piston. sleeve will not be tight like the old one. right now it's probably binding at the top, not the bottom.

sand with sandpaper or drill rotary sander a little more. should slide in by hand without o-rings. dont need the freezer. you need to grease and constant pressure to push the orings into the bore.

If I push hard on it right now it would probably drop right in but I don't want to do that or it will be a pain to pop back out. I plan to emery cloth where it goes tomorrow before I do drop it in with the o-rings
