hi i took apart my magneto again to make sure i set the points right. and was checking out the rest of it and noticed on the end that goes into the engine has a round hub that has two little dog legs that cacth on a screw on each side of the housing. my question is are there supposed to be two of theose screws or one my mag only has one but has a hole for another. and if it is supposed to have two where do i get the other one. thanks tim

Hi Tim,

There is supposed to be only one such screw. It is installed in that other location when the application requires a mag that rotates in the opposite direction.
