What size brushhog can I put on a Allis Chalmers C 4 or 5 ?

I have a 5' on my C. Depends a bit on how high the grass is. I pull in second gear. If grass were especially high or thick, I still have 1st. And of course, you don't need to take a full cut either for all those heavy areas. I'd do the 5'. It will seem like forever with a 4'. I use a 6' with my D-14 and that feels like it cuts twice as fast - though I'm sure it doesn't. The difference between a 4' and 5' would seem even greater.

i use a 6' on my ca. made it work hard once or twice, but mostly no problem.
