I got a 2-stage pump this week, problem is finding a pump mounting bracket to fit my old briggs@straton 8hp. motor, the bolts are 3.5" apart and my shaft is 3.5" long, I guess I`ll have to make one. what oil do you use? thanks much

I found one more problem, I got a barnes pump and the pressure port is to tight for a standard half inch hydraulic male end, 1/2 npt. the male end is about 25 thousands to big for the port hole, what now?

Are you sure it is pipe thread? It may be o-ring also known as JIC.

Surrplus Center in Lincoln,NE may have the mount for the pump. You oil question, I take you mean Hyd. Oil? You could use type A/mercure(sp?) ATF like my C-II Gleaner uses or you could use the Universal Hyd. Oil like WallyWorld or about any farm supply store has.
