what model and year tractor is this it has a flat head engine the only numbers i can get are 21 72 it says united at the top of radiator and allis chalmers on the side of it

That would be a Tractor AC built for the United Tractor Co. but probably was never delivered as that deal fell thru causing AC to begin production of the "U" series Tractors around 1929. Your Tractor should be a Standard Tread Machine.Paint color should be Persian Orange.

Bill: Would you please describe the unit a little further for us? The serial no. for the tractor will be on the back of tractor behind the seat, on a flat spot.
