Well, I registered my C and have one question. Where would one find the casting codes? I am guessing it would reveal the date the tractor was beginning to exist. Any clue? Thanks for the help.
Joe

Thanks for the information. I have the tractor number with C 26864. Then, just below the gear tree is another number that appears to be stamped into the transmission. It is something like 45261F. Any ideas?

Joe

The serial number is on the shift housing below the shift pattern. Once you have that number, look up the age at the left under serial numbers.

Thanks! I found a number under the shifing pattern. It is 45651F. Does this sound right? I will put it in the serial number finder and find out what I got!

Thanks again. Joe

Serial numbers are stamped- not cast. Your serial number should start with a 'C', then up to 5 digits.
