I have been searching high and low for a serial number on the body or frame of this tractor. I have looked all over around the pumpkin and frame and just about everywhere but cant find the number. WHERE IN THE WORLD IS IT????? ??

iT HAS A WD45 ENGINE IN IT according to the serial number but has a straight gear shift and has the shutters on the radiator so I am assuming it is a wd with a wd45 engine put in it.

do some of these not have serial numbers on the tractor itself????

Rear vertical face of the differential, left side of tractor. Starts with 'WD'. Early ones may also have it alongside of the left brake cover. Straight gear shift and shutters were on WD tractors.

Look on the left side of the differential directly behind the cover plate for the left brake. Often, these numbers were not stamped deep and are covered up with several coats of paint. But it is there.

The number is on the left side of the rear end. Does the engine have a side cover on the right side of it?? If it does its a WD engine but if it doesn't have a bolt on cover then its a WD-45 engine
