THE OLD ALLIS IS NEAR COMPLETE,ITS GROWN UP IN A HEDGE THICKET ON MY FARM. IT SURE WAS A JOY FINDING IT. FROM THE PICS ON THIS SITE I THINK IT IS A "B" OR A "C". SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO TELL THEM APART. BEING A 2CYL. JD PERSON,I KNOW VERY LITTLE ABOUT AN ALLIS.I WILL HAVE TO WAIT UNTILL DRYER WEATHER TO GET HER OUT,CAN HARDLY WAIT.

Easiest way is looking at the steering box. A B points down and the the drag link goes to the left front spindle, the C steering arm goes up and the drag link goes to another vertical arm on the front pedestal. S/N should be at the base of the gearshift and start with B or C.

I wish I were so lucky, the only thing I've ever found are some old barrels, tires and what's left of a '62 Chevy imapla. I only was able to tell what it was by a piece of trim I found along with the remains...there is so little left of it you really have to have an imagination to see that it's a car.
