Allis Chalmers types, there's a good auction headed your way in September. My folks are moving off their Minnesota farm and are selling everything at an auction on September 10th. For many years my Dad farmed with WD and WD 45 and assorted implements. All in good to excellent condition having been stored inside.
Sale should include WD (1950??) with belly mount mower. WD 45 (1954??) with traction booster hitch, A-C trip bucket loader. Other A-C equipment includes 1 or 2 A-C sickle bar mowers, 1 or 2 three bottom mounted plows for the A-C hitch, and I think he still has his A-C tandem disc that will also be on the sale.
Please contact me if you have any specific questions. The sale is in S-W Minnesota near Marshall. It will be on September 10, 1999.
F-Y-I he also has an old Case SC and an Oliver 1850 Diesel with a rotary snowblower and Oliver plow. There is also a completely restored Oliver 60 row crop that he owns, but I'm not sure if it will be on the sale, He may be giving that to one of the kids. The sale will be handled by Deutz auction of Marshall. Don't know if they advertise on the web or not. Lots of good old machinery if you are interested.
