Hi Forum

I'm use to wd, wd-45's .

But I'm going to look at a D19 Gas.

Is there any thing I should double check etc. while I'm driving and looking at it?

Thanks !! Teddy

If you use the tractor right it will not jump out of gear. All you have to do is be patient with the gearshift. If you start to move in to gear and it makes a terrible grinding noise. Turn the tractor throttle down to a slow idle and try it again in a few seconds. You cant force it that will break things. They arent powershift tractors. Be patient with them.

It's the people that have used a tractor before me that cause me to worry about the tractor jumping out of gear. That's why you have to check carefully BEFORE you buy.

As John has said one of the problem areas on them is in the tranny.

Make sure it does not jump out of gear when going down hill. FIRST... Make sure brakes WORK! Otherwise it can be a lot like an olympic luge (sp?) ride... only with a really big heavy sled.
