My ignorance showing again...

How do you change the starter on a WD? I don't see how the darn thing is connected! Are there bolts that hold it in place?

Thanks in advance!

Theres a bolt that has a lock nut on it going down at about a 45 degree angle. You loosen the lock nut and then pull to bolt and the starter will slide out. If you look at the end of the bolt it has a bevel which fits on a hole on the starter, thats all that hold it in. Once you have the bolt out you may have to turn the starter a little both way to get it to slide out. The bolt is about center of the tractor
