D 15 Series II Steering coupler

I got a lot of slop in the steering where the coupler is that connects the shaft to the power steering valve up front. A lot of it is the roll pin that holds the coupler in place.

Now since this pin goes thru the shaft on what must be the control valve, I am wondering/trying to figure out a way to knock it out without stressing something in the steering valve assembley or the shaft going into the valve.

I am still waiting on my service manual to come in, but nothing beats advice from the experienced.

if ya got room you could make a pin press out of a c clamp by welding a bolt same diameter of roll pin to swivel portion of clamp and using a deep socket for receiver on other end
