have a Wd with a front loader--trip style. I just bought an AC 2 bottom plow that came was said to have been used on the tractor I got. Cant figure out how to get it attached to the tractor. Do I have to take the loader off???

Does anyone have a manual or can you give me step by step stuff on how to do it.

Do you know the model of the plow? If it is an AC and is "square beam" style (no curved beams in the frame-everything bolted or bent at right angles) it is likely a "WD pick-up plow" or a WD-52 (same plow, different names). Is the plow/tractor Snap-Coupler or not? I have a copy of the manual for the WD-52/53 non-Snap Coupler plow. The Snap-Coupler version is similar, it just attaches with the snap-couplers instead of pins.

Does your loader operate off the tractor hydraulics? If so you may have to disconnect the loader to use the lift arms/traction booster.

Bob D you described the plow to the T. What can I do to get a copy of the manual you have for it???

appreciate you responding to this dilema of mine. Will work on the loader problem after I get the plow on.

I have a trip bucket loader I put on my WD. I put quick disconnects on the lift cylinders. This lets me switch them back and forth when I need. You will need to raise the bucket and block it up to use the lift. A pipe accross the front end will ususally take care of this, unless you're real picky about scuffing your paint :-) The plow should hook up to where the draw bar connects underneath, and then the two T's should connect into the snap paws, to raise and lower it. Make sure you use a good pin underneath and a good clip in it. Talked with a gent who had his come loose and nearly crushed him when the plow came up the back of the tractor! Be safe, the worst things happen when you're in a hurry!!

Re: the A-C 2 Bottom Plow on a A-C WD Tractor. I HAD ONE COME LOSE FROM THE DRAWBAR MOUNT UNDER THE TRACTOR. When this happens the plow will "pole vault" on it's drawbar, flip over and land on top of the driver of the tractor. I was very lucky! I was plowing in 1st gear at near idle speed over soft uneven ground. I was cut, brused, pinched, scuffed, abbraided, and hurt all over and sore for weeks. I was lucky because I had just finished plowing a field in 3rd gear at full throttle. (The A-C plows do plow better if pulled fast.) I now use the plow only if I have 3 (THREE) safety chains on it. It is important to be carefull where you attach the safety chains if you desire to use them. The tractor seat was bent at the back edge - I left it just that way to remind me and point out to others haw dangerous this can be. Be carefull, good luck.
