Can you still crank start a tractor that has been converted to distributor ignition? I wouldn't think so but then you used to be able to crank the old cars that had distributors

Yes, but of course you will need a charged battery in it to have any spark. Also make sure you hand crank it properly, or you might break your arm, wrist or fingers. Keep in mind that the spark may not be retarded as much as a magneto!

Of course you can but you still need to have a good battery in them or they will not start.
