HI I AM RESTORING A 1938 UNSTYLED WC, I HAVE SOME ROUND AND FLAT SPOKED REAR RIMS BUT ARE PRETTY RUSTY AND I DON'T KNOW IF THEY WILL SEAT NEW TIRES DO TO THE CORROSIAN IN THE INNER RIMS. I DON'T THINK A CHISEL OR SAND BLASTING WOULD CLEAN IT UP GOOD ENOUGH. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS, I WISH THEY MADE REPRODUCTIONS OF THESE SPOKED RIMS. NUTS

Detwiler Tractor Parts in Wis. will rerim round spoke wheels for you.715-659-4252 . If they're not rusted through, hitting them with a hammer will knock a good share of that flakey rust off.

I have just removed two flat spoke wheels of a WC projuct my son and I are working on. One is 24" the other is 28". They do have rust in places but would make easy repairs or good to use as fixers. If you are intrested I will get the old rubber off and send you pictures. We live in Utah but will be going to Nebraska in late March or early April. We could meet you if it is convienient, if you wanted to strike a deal.

Depending on how extensive the rusty areas are, you can cut out the bad and weld in parts of another 24 inch rim, as long as the profile matches. Inner circle can be reinforced with thin flat stock.
