Can someone tell me about the Allis C 125 engine CE 970 G? IT HAS THE TRACTOR # C891 WHICH I UNDERSTAND TO BE A '41. It's in my AC C n/f gas Was wondering if my torque tube,trans,are the same. thanx alot gary

you motor and tractor number are both very early numbers in the first year of production (less than 1000) which leads you to believe they are original, but like Denny said, they are not recorder number for number, from Allis.

All C's have the same torque tube and transmission.

no TEXAS DENNY, i'm taking about motor out of mine and torque tube out of yours and the trans out of something else.I want to know if there's a way to see if they all came together from the factory by tracing the #'s. oem . thanx gary

Can't answer that but I doubt it. In the tractor businees, i"ve never heard of anyone being concerned about matching numbers like they do in cars. There is a number on the transmission that tells when it rolled off the line. There is a number on the engines that suggests approximate manufacturing date. All the other numbers (as far as I know) are casting numbers and are the same on all tractors of a specific model.
