I found a Monarch Tractors watch fob while metal detecting yesterday and I am trying to figure out when A-C dropped the Monarch line.

Thanks for any help

From Allis-Chalmers Farm Equipment 1914-1985 by Norm Swinford:

The Monarch Tractor Corporation of Springfield, IL., was in financial straits and A-C was able to buy it for half a million dollars in 1928.

New models bearing the Allis-Chalmers name started flowing out of Springfield. The Model L replaced the 75, and was tested at Nebraska in 1932. The Special K replaced the Model 35 and was tested in 1933. The model M was a new size at 35.05-belt horsepower. THe name Monarch would never be used again.
