Make a WD grader sort of like the WC Speed patrol, but based on the WD tractor instead of the WC?? I had a guy call me today and said they did but I have never heard of one before and have never heard or seen it talked about on here either so did they and if so why haven't I seen or heard of them??

i've had the same experience someone tried to tell me my cockshutt 50 was built by oliver no way i could tell that ----- ----- -- different he's one of these that has mind made up don't
confuse him with facts get all pi$$ey when try to tell them something they think they know

But . . . I think you could make one pretty easy if you have a speed patrol and a WD. It could be as easy as changing the side frames. Have never studied one, so I don't know what is involved. But . . . maybe!!

I lloked that over when I switched the engines in my WC speed patrol and figured it would be way to hard to switch it. The shifter and a lot of other parts would be in the way of the hand wheels.

Based upon information in Norm Swinford's book (and he outta know) there was no such animal as a WD based "Speed Patrol". After 1948 the WC based Speed Patrol was replaced by the Model D grader. Tim

Thats was what I was thinking but this guy wanted to argue about it with me and I told him he was wrong but that got him upset. I know I have spent some time looking for info on the WC Speed patrol back when I was working on mine and had never seen anything about a WD so I figured that they didn't make one but wanted to double check to make sure I was right. Thanks
