Looking for the HP of the gleaner E engine. Going to use one in a wd45, also looking for info on easy ways to increase the hp of this motor without large amounts a machining required.

Will work fine. Done it in a D17,WD45, & WC. You need tochange the front gov assy.Or it will only idle or run full throttle. Also loose fuel pump & cover up hole.Replumb 1 oil line. It is a easy change out. Eddie

i AM SURE THAT IS A 226CI LIKE THE d17'S,WD45'S AND IT SHOULD WORK. I HAVEN'T SEEN IT BUT IT SHOULB BE ADAPTABLE . I HAVE SEEN THEM IN D17'S. IT'S NOT THAT MUCH MORE HP THAN THE 45'S HAD ANYWAY. I'LL BET SOMEONE ON THIS FORUM HAS DONE IT. (SORRY ABOUT THE CAPS)

I think that an engine out of that combine would be a little big for a wd45
