well, i did what you fellows suggested and it was a little to easy. those legs with wheels were the cats a... i haven't put it back to gether yet. i'm sure that'll be alittle more interesting. sonow, this is what i need to know. looking at the seal after taking the flywheel off looks to be pretty oily not to mention howw dirty and grease all over. should i undo the wired nuts and install a seal? is there some special tools i might need? the throw out bearing seems a little sloppy about 1/4 " play for sure. when i drove it sounded fine. pilot bearing looked somewhat worn. thanx gary

UNWIRE THE BOLTS AND PULL THE SEAL HOLDER OFF. THE SEAL FITS INTO A GROUVE. ORIGINAL ONES WERE CORK, MOST REPLACEMENT SEALS ARE FELT AND NEOPREAN. LUBE THE SEAL A LITTLE BEFORE YOU SLIDE IT ON. NO SPECIAL TOOLS NEEDED.

mornin' bob,like you said it wasn't to big of a deal. had a flat on one of the front tires and that made it lean over to one side a little, but i can handle that. those legs for the torque tube was really neat. i could even wheel it around to work on it. suprising the rear is so balanced right there, that you can pick the torque tube up, easily. ok back to work. thanx again to all. gary
