SNAP hitch on WD

Lonny says I ought to inquire about the SNAP connector or hitch installed on WD45s and WDs. Will anyone fill us in on this?

The snap-coupler is a bell shaped thing that is connected to the bottom of the transmission. If your tarctor has a curved rod about 1/2in thick near the gear shifter, you have a snap coupler. It you don't follow the drawbar to where it connects to the tractor. If it is connected by a pin, you have a standard tractor. The snap-coupler allows you to hook up implement made specially for the snap coupler by backing the tractor so the implements hitch goes into the coupler without getting off the tractor. You just back into it, attach the lift arms, raise the implement, and drive off. If you know what you are doing, you can hook to a plow in about 30 secs. When you want to unhitch, put the tractor in gear, disengage the hand clutch, disconnect the lift arms, put your left foot on the release bar, and pull the hand clutch back.
