i have a wd45 with a 262 diesel out of a D-19 in mine, had to make some changes, like oil filter has to be relocated, injector pump hit the frame rail, had to do a little cutting there and you need to copy a adaptor plate off of a wd45 diesel to bolt it to your tractor, it takes some work to get it in a former gas tractor, the grill has to be moved forward all the way the front, I run no belts on my engine. no charging, electric fan, electric water pump all off of the battery, it makes a heck of a puller. its a real head turner when that little allis has a big 6cyl. diesel blowing black smoke. I've had very very good results with mine

To make a long story short you really need to start with a WD45 Diesel to put the 262 in a WD45
unless you want to run down a bunch of parts
