If the pump is set at 95hp at 540pto speed. What would the hp be at 2950 rpms engine speed. Pulling in dyno regulated classes.

Texas Denny did a good job of explaining the Horse power issue and he also added that ( IF the torque remained constant). I feel certain that as your rpm went above 2400 No load that the torque would fall Off. I have not had any experience here but I do believe that if you had it set at 95 hp at 540 pto that you would be lucky to gain more than another 15-20 at the higher rpm. Tractor engines usually loose torque when you over - rev them unless you have had the pump turned up. Remember this is just my opinion.

I'm not sure what you are planning but the rated rpm of the 190XT is 2200 rpm. High idle is2460 on the gas and 2425 on the diesel.
The only real way to know what the hp is is to put it on a dyno.

My area has two groups, one follows the NATPA rules, the other is a dyno farmstock with hotstock as its two divisions.The dyno farmstock says that if you hook inthe 8500lb, you are to be less than 85 pto hp on there dyno. Thats pretty much it, some safety stuff over 3000rpm,s.The NATPA club has a open 6000 and 9000. For div 4 and 5 tractors without year limit. Thought this might be a good choice? Guess wich group averages 15 to 20 per class.

According to Nebraska test 929, rated 540 pto is achieved at 1937 rpm. If the torque curve is flat from 1937 to 2950, the horsepower would be 2950/1937 times the horsepower at 1937 rpm (82.3 according to Nebraska). So the horsepower would be 125. I've never seen a torque curve so I don't know if the torque stays constant, goes up or goes down.
