My source says 1929, with the Model U, a tractor that AC had contracted to produce for United. When United folded, AC was "stuck" with the tractors, which proved wildly popular. And orange.

i have a 1928 e allis which is still green and yellow so i agree that it was about 1930

Around 1930 "I Think"With introduction of A-C-U-Models. After Rumley Oilpull production ceased.
