I have a picture of the factory stack weights on a 1953 WD45 Distillate, email me and i can send a picture. They are pricey, I sold a set of 3 for $500 this summer. I have 3 sets left, but they are not for sale.

Sounds like the "pancake weight" That were offerd for D series and wd style tractors. I've seen them on both. Whant to sell them? Kinda rare $$$.

The only front end weights for a WD45 that I have heard of are the round cast weights that bolt into the fron wheels. Beyond that, it's easy to make a frame that bolts on to the tractor frame, either in front of the radiator, or along side, and mount cast weights to that.

Thanks JMS, I haven't heard of them either. Mine are welded to the frame, smooth fit to the frame rail, and have a casting # AA 8255? Probably came off something else but look like they belong there, except for the welding.

If they are welded to the tractor side frame (rail)- they are not factory.

There are 3 weights stacked on top of one another on top of frame in front of radiator. Allis Chalmers part # is 227272. Approx 70 pounds each.
