For Mike in Ohio (or anyone else interested). I decided to do a dimensional drawing of the front wishbone weight attaching J-bolts. I am not sure if you can purchase the required size/configuration from a stock bolt supplier like Fastenal or McMaster-Carr. I didn't see anything close in a brief review of those suppliers. These bolts are another one of those detail pieces that get lost over time. Anyway, they would be fairly easy to fabricate from standard hardware stock. The drawing is of an original bolt supplied by AC for these weights on my '42B. You can download it in pdf format from my webpage here.

Rod, I saw in another post a picture of your tractor with the wilard plows. I see that the fenders are different than most Allis B"s I"ve seen. Did you do something to them or did they come that way?

Ed,

I didn't do anything to them. My '42B originally had steel wheels. Those wide fenders are the stock fenders that AC provided on B tractors with factory-supplied steel wheels. They are really nothing more than the standard fenders with extensions spot welded on. You can see the spot welds in that picture, especially on the right fender. Other things unique to a B originally on steel are different rear wheel hubs (heavier, and with four peripheral notches instead of two) and a taller air cleaner intake stack. Here's what it looked like when it was new:
