Bill, you might try emailing Phil Johnson, who posted below. He has helped me with a lot of parts for Granddad's old U, that I got from you. He told me that there are a quite a few 20-35's in his area. Phil's a good guy to deal with. What year did that 20-35 turn out to be? I called him about it and he didn't know. I was hoping it was a '27, but he said it had the plain steel platform and no ball on the gearshift lever, so I knew it wasn't a '27. I was thinking of buying it for parts had it been a 1927.

I don't know the year yet on the old heffer, I won't get it until the 6th. I'm kinda excited about it. I looked through my early U book and couldn't find the clutch pedal on your U. I'll check with Phil. Thanks.

Hows it coming on Gramps 30 U??

Bill, I have everything unstuck now except for 2 tappets. I have them moving some now. I also have all the parts rounded that were removed from it. Beginning to round up mechanical parts for the engine. Thanks for checking on that clutch pedal. I think you will enjoy that 20-35. I think it's my favorite of the ones I have. Except for maybe Gramps' 30 U.

I have two 20-35s, an original '28 and a restored'29. They are a medium to dark green including wheels. They have a 1/4" wide yellow pinstripe that outlines the hood and fenders, also on the radiator castings, seat post and wheel spokes. I believe Lyle Wacker has the correct paint code, and he has the decal sets. You can email me for more info.
