I have a Ac Mod. B, with a Woods 5ft. belly mower, I have used this tractor for about two years mowing without any problem, just recently, it has started to run badly while mowing, acts like its not running on all cylinders, but it idels good, the plugs and wires are all good, so is the points and cap on the magneto, any ideas ?

Check for rust flakes/particles in the bottom of your fuel tank at the outlet. You may have a
problem in front of the carburator and it's a lot
less expensive to start checking there by doing a
little disassembly.

We have a 49/C with a similar problem. I'm almost positive it's dirt in the carborator. It runs fine at an idel, but when you open it up spits and sputters.

need to disasemble clean it ,sounds like there's dirt in the high speed jet,check the float bowl,if theres dirt in there its everywhere
