bought a 1941 or 42 ac c ser # c 891 can someone tell me a little closer if so about what year it is? what is the correct color for the decals and what color should it be? thanx o so much gary

I have posted regarding my two Allis B's for decal info. With my 42 B the blue and white decal set are correct. The 48 would take the black set. I got them from e-bay and didn't pay alot. They are on e-bay all the time. If you get the vinyl set with seprate letters you pay alot more. If you want them there out there.

That would be a 1941. Persian Orange (original) which is available from Dupont. The mix code should be in the Paint Code section in the left hand column. I think you'd be looking at the blue decal set that early and probably no grill "C" decal even though it would be in the set. Someone else may comment if they have better info on the 41. I think Eldon's is a 41 and he posts often.
