My tractor has been completely rebuilt including motor. It has only been running 3-4 times since rebuild. It has a new water pump, new radiator, new thermostat (160 degree), new rediator cap (7 lbs.). I fill the radiator with coolant within an inch of the top of the radiator, and every time it runs up to temperature it leaks a lot out of the bottom of the radiator. It might be seeking its level, but it leaked out about 1 gallon. Any ideas, anyone? Thanks!

Make sure the thermostat is not in backwards that will make it heat up. At any time could mice get to radiator or engine block, have had the critters fill them with insulation and acorns.

you got bubbles in radiator? could be a head gasket leaking a little...if its a diesel did you retorque head after it warmed up first time?

could also be a bad thermostat...if i had a nickel for every bad brand new part i've gotten over the years.

do a colling system pressure test...they loan em out at auto zone for a 75 buck deposit...that will tell you real quick if its leaking internally

Could be the radiator just has a (new) leak.
