I cannot keep the front pulley on the end of the crank shaft; crank shaft is worn. Is there any repair I can do without removing the crank shaft from the engine?

I would appreciate any information regarding this subject.

For a temporary fix get the crankshaft in a position where you can use a drill to get a deeper hole for the locking stud to enter. I would drill in about 3/8" with a 3/8" drill bit. I would then use JB Weld to fill the wobble or lose areas. Use a 3/8" with the end tapered some, long enough to have a locking nut. Tighten the capscrew and make sure the pulley runs true and let set for 24 hours. Oil the crankshaft good first so the pulley can be removed later. If you ever have to et the crankshaft reground it can have a proper repair to the end at that time.
