Any of you guys interested in BIG AC power I posted some pictures of a tractor my father and I found alongside the road in KS. AC 8550. Complete engine rebuild, new paint, cab and seat all redone. Looks and performs great. Tires were already on it believe it or not.

When we found it, looked like the guy had P.O'd his neighbor who came over with a hammer. The picture doesnt do justice but the tractor was littered with "beatings" and had apparently never seen a roof.

Was our first "resto" and what a big project but well worth it, you couldn't get a descent JD 4020 for what we have invested and it has 220 more HP!!

Beautiful paint job. If your tractor has a stock toplink please email me some photos of it at [email protected]. What is the largest tire I can put on the stock rim? Mine came with 30.5 X 32.

the engine is #6120T, 731 CU, Twin turbocharged rated at 300-305HP

from looking through my AC literature it looks to be basically the same motor used in the HD-21 dozer and the 460 Motorscraper just slightly smaller stroke

The twin stacks threw me. I had to look it up in my AC book. I bet they sound as good as they look under load.
