Hello, i just bought a very clean and nice original wd tractor and need a good 3 point for it. i don't want to pay too much for one but a good aftermarket unit will work fine for it. i live in mn. i will probably be selling my wd45 as i cannot keep 2 tractors..i'am not sure if this is the place to post it or not and won't be able to get pics for a week or so as it is up north. a good wd45 w/wide front in it's work cloths. i'am not a collector like you guys i just use them as they were intended for. i'am thinking around $2100.00 what is the going price?

thanks, Gary r. voigt Excelsior, mn. 952-474-3540

If you have pictures there is the photo ads to the left, if not the classifieds. I did a classified the other night for my equipment trailer and it was easy. I also did a search a couple months back to figure out what others were selling their B's for and got a rough idea. The only problem is, it can be pretty different prices in different parts of the country.

I made my own 3-points on the D-14, a C and a B and they all worked (and work) great. On the smaller ones, I used aftermarket Ferguson system style lift arms new and scrapped together rams from scrap yards (e.g. used CA rams on the B, dual C rams on the C). The D-14 was a lot easier because it had all the internal lifts built in. I have another D-14 with an aftermarket 3-point like they sell here and it's probably more stout but they both work the same. Can't say for the WC. My homemade 3-pts all are fine lifting any of my implements. The only limitation is that the small machines can't run the bush hog, they can lift stuff bigger than they can use, bet the WC wouldn't have that problem, the D-14 doesn't either.

There were a couple of articles on making 3-points in the article section.
