Gentlemen: i enjoy this forum very much, i look thru it until my eyes just about cross.Im 65 yrs old, always wanted a tractor but was a city boy.I finealy bought one to keep at daughters place(15 achers), its a D-15 seiries 2, fresh paint looks like new for 3250.00.Theonly bad thing is the brakes dont work, so will replace in the spring. will be looking for different implements(quick coupler)to play with this winter for next spring. If anybody has some for sale in sothern Minn. or northern Ia please E MAIL me.Thanks agin for the forum.

we had a d-15 II back in the sixties when they first came out. good tractor . ours had a factory 3 pt. hitch. for the ease of finding implements you might want to consider adding an aftermarket 3 pt. many are available new and used.

I'd agree, I made mine as soon as I got my first D-14. I noticed YT still carries them and those require you still have the swinging drawbar. I have one of those kits on the other D-14. If you don't have the drawbar, the kits are only part of the picture and you need that drawbar. Mine is just a bolted plate that accomodates the top link and two jacks that go down to the pivoting draw bar sides. I had a loop for the snap coupler just put pins in to hold the two one inch steel bars headed back to pick up the side pins. The beauty of it is you can drop the thing off the back and mount up a snap-couple implement in no time flat. Like I have an 80R mower, a plow and a disk that are snap coupler and it's easy to go back and forth. Frankly I like the snap coupler better for quick pick up but it's less rigid for most implements. Plus having the 3-point just makes it easy to get cheap implements.
