My Dad bought a brand new WC in April of 1936. Paid $935.00. John's 1937 is only slightly different in that our '36 had spoke wheels in front as well as back. My uncle had a '37 that had disc wheels front and back. Also our '36 did not have the fan shrouds on the upper front sides of the hood. My uncle's '37 did.The exhaust pipe on our '36 and my uncle's '37 came out the side at an angle and did not go up through the hood as shown in John's pic. Allis would change things on their tractors from time to time with little or no regard for yearly model changes.

THIS 35 HAS SPOKE WHEELS FRONT AND REAR AND ALSO HAS THE SMALL AUXILLERY FUEL TANK CONNECTED TO THE HOOD. THE CRANK IN THE ENGINE IS BAD BUT I BELIEVE EVERYTHING CAN BE REBUILT.

Ours had the small one gallon fuel tank also. That was for starting the tractor with gasoline and then switching to kerosine. We never did that, we burned gasoline from day one. A special maniflod was provided for running on kerosine. It had a raised letter "K" on it.
