Hi, anyone out there know the cylinder head torque settings for an Aliis ED40? Thanks in advance

Sorry, I don't have an ED-40 book. The spec for both D-14 and D-15 is 80-85 ft#. On the diesels it is higher. I assume you have a gas. I think these would be safe numbers. The engine on an ED-40 is different than either the D-14 and D-15 but it is about the same size.

Thanks for the reply. It's a diesel, I've been advised 105ft#, but don't know if this would be ok?

Diesels are less consistant. Early D-17 diesels are 95. Late D-17 are 105. All D-15 diesels are 110 to 120. Since the compression ratio is 17:1 on the D-15 and 20:1 on the ED-40, I'd go with 110.
