Amazing. We save old iron but this guy is saving the place that made it. Staggering project and I hope he makes it. Obviously he must have a profit motive but, given that he did work for Allis, there must be even more of that same labor of love we get. I'm impressed with his vision of preservation. He's doing an important thing in a world where make-more-money always wins over the honor of saving the history... but he's doing both and that makes him somewhat unique.

i'm glad to hear something is going be done to save some of the allis site some people have been trying to do something with the cockshutt site in canada what i've read seems most of that site is not able to be saved
